Lampshade re-do
I like simple things but there is another part of me that loves bling! I have incorporated an old sparkly vintage rhinestone necklace and some old french net lace trim on this lampshade. The shade itself is newer and has that wonderful ecru color. Just clip on. $22.00
I love living in a small town! And life here is simple and less complicated. It allows me to focus on the things I love such as painting and re-creating objects found. I am perhaps a gypsy by nature, as I travel most days, treasure hunting for unique items. I love all things vintage.
Recently I landed a job working on a farm turned antique store.with 5 buildings of cool old stuff it has been quite an opportunity to learn about antiques and also how to display them.I am grateful for yet another creative avenue to explore.
I have 2 beautiful daughters whom are married to two wonderful men. I also have 3 grandkids who have given me great joy.
I reside at home with my wonderful husband and 2 cats. Our home is mostly decorated in vintage items that I have dragged home. There is no rhyme or reason to my decor. And it never fails that when I bring one inspiration piece home, the whole room gets a makeover. We laugh about our house always being under construction. There is always another room being repainted or re decorated!
Luckily as I find myself in a world of recycling, I gladly pass on our visiting treasures for the next guy to enjoy :)
